Nineteen Ten is on the hunt for a part-time Sales Associate to join our team!

The ideal candidate is self driven, motivated and have strong customer service, sales and people skills. Nineteen Ten Home is a small, independent run business so we are looking for someone who embraces this and wants to be a part of our team and the main street community. This position suits someone who is looking for a long-term commitment and who is interested in growing with our business.

  • The position is for 2 weekdays, approx 16 hours per week.   Flexibility to take on additional shifts is a bonus.

  • A minimum of 1 year retail or sales experience with key holder responsibility.

  • Strong people and interpersonal skills. We love our customers and strive maintain a great relationship with all of them, it is important to us that you can do this too.

  • Interest and familiarity with the product and brands we carry.

  • Attention to detail within all aspects of your job. We work hard to keep the store in great shape, clean and looking its best.

  • Confidence in receiving, unpacking, tagging and merchandising new goods.

  • Takes pride in appearance, style, cleanliness and grooming

  • Self motivated and driven to take on tasks and handle situations when alone in the shop.
